Find out what part of the earth is directly below you using the interactive maps below. Zoom and pan the top map to a location and see its' antipode on the other map.
You can drag either map by clicking and holding it as you move. Once you release the map, the other map will update to show the location on the opposite side of the Earth, as if you're looking through an imaginary tunnel. This effectively reveals what's on the other side of the planet.
To make navigation easier, you can zoom in and out on the maps as needed.
Each map also allows you to switch between Map and Satellite views for a different perspective.
Additionally, you can use the Find My Current Location Automatically button to center the top map on your current location. (This feature requires HTML5 geolocation.)
This is a Antipode map. An antipode of a point on the earth is the region on the Earth's surface which is diametrically opposite to that point. The two points which are antipodal to one another are considered to be connected by a straight line or tunnel through the centre of the Earth.
